This memory was captured out at Olcott, NY while we were there for the fireworks. I had the camera down low, and was paying attention to my composition. I was focusing on the lighting, the line of the pier on the horizon and the flow of the water.
Once I had taken the shot, only then did I realize that this couple entered the frame, and I am sure glad they did! They really made this photo! It would have been good without the couple, but the couple in this image takes it to a whole new level.
This image has been posted on the NextDoor App, on Facebook, and even broadcast on WGRZ. The Most Buffalo show that aired on July 7th, 2021 featured this image. They shared it via Twitter and YouTube.
